Wednesday 5th – Friday 7th June. This pre-conference training event is specifically designed to provide a skill-enhancing mini course to participants of various international backgrounds. It is addressed to a small group of young professionals and master students in the areas of housing and planning.
The second plenary debate of the morning will bring together five keynote speakers, each representing one of the congress tracks.
An opportunity to discuss, present and debate the role of the planner in time of rapid urban changes and to share practical experiences among different generations of professionals.
Parallel evening event: EAROPH (Eastern Regional Organization for Planning and Human Settlements), which is an offspring of IFHP, will host a working group session. It will be a unique opportunity to share the experiences of Asia and Asia Pacific with members of the Congress.
To understanding factors, emerging trends, unusual cases and economic and social consequences derived from urbanization and population distribution, taking into account the differences and context-related issues.
